March Madness (and I'm not talking about basketball)

Where is spring?? Hopefully when it comes we will all be rid of this cold/flu and we can enjoy the warm weather that is hopefully soon coming our way. Doesn't seem right to have snow after the Easter Bunny. Below is the "sicky" we had for over a week. She is looking a little rough but an ear infection and cold will always knock you down.
I am not sure what is so interesting under the fridge, but I am sure it is food related otherwise Baxter would not be so interested.

Whatever it is, it has caught Madi's attention. Its like playing "Simon says" with her. Whatever the dog does she does.

No, she did not fall asleep, she was double checking to make sure Baxter got it. That darn piece a toast was worth it!!

Every parent relish the moment their son or daughter puts on their shoes to pretend to be like them. I have waited for that moment and yet Madison prefer's Daddy's boots over Mommy's high heels!! It was quite humorous watching her trying to walk in Daddy's heavy work boots.

She decided two was too heavy so one boot it was!!

Easter Sunday Morning - March 23

The Egg Hunt - Madi's first

Big Sisters Jill and Dani were so helpful teaching Madi that they even re-hid the eggs for her so she could find more.

Checking out her loot. The bunny hid foil eggs and plastic eggs with money and gummy candies in them but she decided she didn't like the plastic eggs, so she threw them out of her basket and kept trying to find more foil eggs.

Easter Bunny Visit

She was a good girl - No tears A little shy but all together she was very brave.

Panama City Beach, Florida

It was so noisy and windy (notice our hair) that it was a quick photo opportunity - we wanted to get in the plane quickly.

In our resort the first morning which would be Saturday March 8th, 2008. It was a little cool so we fashioned one of Linda and Michael's outfits! We were very pleased to have brought it, we needed it a few times and the fleece liner of the jacket and pants! It was so soft Mommy wanted a set for herself.

Visiting Opa, Oma, Uncle Bob, Aunt Ria, Fred and Coby (From Holland) ocean front condo!! It was sweet. Daddy really liked the scenery of the itsy bitsy bikinis!!

Mommy flying a kite on our last day there - Friday March 14th. We were very sad that it was over. It definitely wasn't long enough!! Next trip - 2 weeks for sure!!

Being a kid again!! Madi was not feeling well so she stayed in the condo (it was pretty windy) and watched from the window.

Lounging on the couch on our last day! poor sick Madi - She was an amazing traveller and was never cranky and that is amazing considering she flew with an ear infection (we didn't know). We enjoyed our trip immensely - it helps when you have a very easy baby!!
