Randy's 40th Birthday gift. He has always wanted an automatic watch (no batteries - keeps ticking on the movement of body) So, he had picked out a few watches that he liked at Costco and I splurged and spoiled my husband with a watch he really wanted and LOVES. I keep calling him to ask him the time so I make him look at his watch and then I ask him "Are you looking at your watch that your LOVELY wife gave you for your birthday?" Just to remind him how lovely I am?? :-)
Auntie Leah and Grandma came to babysit Madi so Daddy and Mommy could have an evening out. When we got back I took some photos of the visitors.

Auntie Leah and cousin Jadon with all his toys. Shout out to Shelly the turtle - Hey Shelly!! (Thats for Jadon's benefit)
Below is a wonderful photo of grandma babysitting - passed out with a bottle of scotch! She's hitting the booze big time (just kidding she doesn't touch the stuff!!) but Auntie Leah thought it would be funny. Great company she was asleep by 8:00 pm no time to visit when she was sawing logs so early.

April 12 - the day after Daddy's birthday - Daddy spending the day exactly how he imagined i - on the couch with snacks watching the Masters!!

Madi is going through the dress-up stage. Here she has Daddy's vest on. She was trying so hard to put it on and it was so big that Mommy had to help her out - She always makes me laugh and smile. What a joy she is.

More of Madi being silly.
Madi wearing her big sister's boots
Big Sister Jill putting them on the dog!! He is such a good sport.

Madi at the sitter's house in the backyard - on the "wwwing" as Madi calls it. She hasn't mastered her "s" yet.
Now that the nice weather has arrived its hard to keep her indoors. She is always saying "outside, Mommy"
Above is Camille, Kim and Miss Madi.

Below is the 2nd time Madi ventured onto sand and this time BY HERSELF - The day before I went in with her for a short period but she wouldn't move - Day 2 she walked about 5 steps

And instead of walking around playing (below) you see Madi ordering Kim (or me) to shovel or rake. She doesn't like to touch the sand toys because "Mommy dirty" - She doesn't like her hands to get dirty.
I am happy to annouce she now will play with the sand but she has to have shoes and socks on. She can't be in sandals or barefeet (yet) something more to work on. However, she will shovel the sand and walk through it on her own. Yippee a break through. Thanks again for visiting - See you soon.
