Madi and the girls

Here Madi is showing us she is a big girl climbing the stairs by herself.
Madi and the girls enjoying the awesome weather - this was after our family photo session - It was a beautiful day! Too warm for our outfits.

Madi and her big sister

The girls with our neighbor Stephanie playing in our tree.

The many faces and looks of Madi

I melt when I see that smile

Big sister teaching her about pumpkins

Madi hamming it up for the camera

Here are 4 out of the 6 outfits Michael and Linda sent to Madi from Alabama - Just another reason to take pictures and show her off some more....I think I need to get her some funky tights for the dresses that are in style these days.

The outfit below is from Linda and Michael - Too CUTE!!

Did I mention she now has 16 teeth another came through on Friday (her eigth in the past week)

Tuesday October 16, 2007

This isn't October 16th, but thought some people might enjoy the fall colors!! Look at the red in the back?? he he he
Decorating for Halloween / Fall

Below Madi is waving bye bye to the scarecrow ~ Not sure why but often she waves to the scarecrow.

Madison's facscination with balls continues with pumpkins, apples, orange, basically anything in the round shape Madison is quite intrigued by them. (This shirt is from Linda and Michael - skirt that matches is a little big yet)

Investigating the pumpkins!!

Here we are on Saturday October 13th, at the Wellington Ontario Pumpkin Fest Parade. Madison LOVED all the pumpkins going by and she kept saying "bawl" the whole time - yes I know I spelled it wrong however that's the way it sounds when Madi says it.

Madison's first visit to Mommy's work on Tuesday October 16th, 2007 after her Daddy took her to her 15 month appointment - and the big bad nurse poked her hard TWICE!!

But the doctor gave her a sticker and she was happy again.
Weight 25lbs 5oz (she has gained almost 3 lbs since July's appointment)
Height - 85.5cm or 331/2" tall (yup she is off the charts the doctors say)
She wore this lovely dress from Linda and Michael (in Alabama) and the nurse made Daddy visit all the other nurses to show off her pretty dress and the cute red-head wearing it! (not sure if the nurse just thought my husband was cute or really it was Madi????)

Madi is wondering who that funny American is standing beside her!! That's Debra!!

Here we are after work and the sitters getting some fresh air!!

THREE WORDS
I LOVE HER

This look above where she purses her lips together she does to her Daddy and the Babysitter's daughter's boyfriend - its her flirt look - Next time I will try and get it while she is looking at the camera! Its so cute she knows how to flirt at 15 months.

She is working on something here???

Oh here she is pooping in the neighbor's drive way! Shhhh Don't tell the Brookers'

Just finishing up on her business - I wish I could zoom in - her eyes are all watery!!

Showing off the pretty dress for Linda and Michael (I had to get a full length shot for them)

One of the kids at the sitter's announced Madi was wearing her Church Dress!!
What's church???
If she only knew I grew up Catholic and had to go EVERY Sunday!! I wish I had clothes like these to wear.

The Last Two Weeks

Madison is playing with her wooden doll house she received for her first birthday from Auntie Leah! Ps - Auntie Leah we need more furniture!!
The first time Madi played with it she tried to crawl into the first floor and then she stood on the second floor - I dont think she quite gets the concept yet of playing with dolls, etc. However she did enjoy taking all the cushions off the chairs.

The weather has been so spectacular for fall that every night we go outside before and after dinner to get some fresh air and pick weeds from the neighbors lawns. Madi at first use to swat the white little pollen thingys off it until Jillian showed her she could pick them and now she picks as many as she sees and carries them on our walks. Thank goodness for big sisters!!

Below is another one of my favorite smiles - Those are motherhood's greatest rewards - watching your creation smile back at you.

I adore her more than anything in this world! How fortunate we are to have been blessed by this amazing little girl - even her big sisters are pretty impressed with her and she fits in like she was meant to be with us. I am so fortunate to have 2 wonderful step daughters that are the most amazing big sisters this little girl could have.

Those fancy necklace beads were won by Jillian and Daniella at the Campbellford fair with Daddy, Opa, and Oma. We should say "HELLO" Oma and Opa visiting in HOLLAND!! Say Hi to all my family and friends (including Hennie).

These blue overalls belonged to Jadon her cousin who is 6 now and way too big for them. Its neat she can wear something that belonged to her "male" cousin - what a few strands of beads can do for an outfit :-)

Here we are getting ready to go to Kim's house - She likes to visit with the other kids and Cricket the dog.

She likes it so much she is trying to open the van door to get in an go!!

Thanksgiving at Ruisendaals' 2007

Here we have Cousin Jadon being his silly self (just like his mom when she was a kid every picture had her mouth open), Auntie Leah covered with her hair, Madi (staring at cousin "IT"), and Uncle Joe.

There we go a better picture. Hopefully Auntie Leah will remember to send me copies of the pictures she has on her camera. Madi is wondering what Jadon is doing with his tongue??

Madi bonding with her Auntie and Uncle. PS - it was the best turkey anyone has ever had! It was the first time I was able to cook a turkey for my family. It was a lot of fun and Randy was awesome cleaned the entire house top to bottom - He is such a good husband - I think I am gonna keep him - he does make beautiful girls!!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!
PS - Guess who is getting FOUR that's right 4 more teeth. Two are already through and 2 are about to pop through - no wonder she had a runny nose like she was sick and a little cranky - 4 teeth would make me cranky!!
