Thanksgiving 2009

My cutie!! I was sitting on the couch with my feet on the table and next thing you know she popped up through my legs and I thought she looked so friggin cute - I had to take a picture.

Campbell's Orchard

We went for a nice trip to the Apple Orchard on a very COOL morning!!

Visiting the animals.

They crack me up!!

Walking through the pumpkin patch.

They had a corn maze but Madi wanted to walk through the pumpkins.

The two LOVES of my life. I just adore these two beings!

Can you tell she is FREEZING??

Below - I asked her to smile and instead I got a tongue. She has quite the sense of humor at 3 years old.

Just like her father....

Picking out the perfect pumpkin

Waiting for the tractor ride through the apple orchard. Brrrr it was cold.

Below - Thanksgiving Lunch at the Fournier's

Above - Uncle Donovan and Aunt Sylvie (Mommy's brother and sister-in-law)

Madi getting introduced which of course she would not talk to anyone because she is so shy.

Daddy's girl (for that moment then she will switch and be Mommy's girl when she wants something ~ clever little one at 3)

Part of the gang

Above - Michael, Me, Auntie Leah (mommy's sister), Randy (my husband), and Aunt Sylvie.

Bad lighting!!!

Above - Uncle Donovan, Michael (nephew), Dylan (nephew), Vanessa (Dylan's girlfriend), and Randy.

Nephew Kevin Aka Bubba (beside Vanessa) and Nephew Jadon (beside Randy)

Below - Mommy has been teaching Madison how to sign (American Sign Language-ASL) I love you; which looks like the drawing below. I am teaching her this so when I wave to her through the window at the babysitters when I leave, we can sign to each other I love you. She picked it up pretty quickly and all the other kids even try and do it. She does it perfectly now after one week. She can do it without using her other hand to push down the two fingers. Its quite cute. We swim every Thursday at Mommy's work and for those that don't know Mommy works at the school for the deaf here in Belleville. In the gymnasium hallways there is painting on the walls of from the kids that have gone to school there. Last week we were walking to the change room and Madi sees a picture and says "Look Mommy the wolf is saying I Love You" - Not only is she cute but she is a GENIUS!! My smarty pants. I had to take a picture of her next to the wolf so you could see the wolf that was painted and her signing "I Love You".

Look over at the camera Madi!!

Happy Thanksgiving and Halloween.

Above is a salt rock I have in my office that was given to me by the former Principal of the Sagonaska School (school for kids with learning disabilities) and I turned it into a pumpkin for the season!! Next a Santa hat!!

September 2009 and the Dentist Visit

Below - This picture is one of my favorites!! Why you are asking because this is Madi playing hide-and-go-seek!! This is where she went and hid. Of course I then pretended like I couldn't see her and said "Madi where are you?" and she replied "under the chair!" How innocent and cute.

She cracks me up!!

So here is Madi again with a worm but this was so funny. She was scooping water out of her crocodile pool and pouring it on her feet. Next thing you know she felt something funny between her big toe and next toe and there is this worm, worming its way up her foot and up her leg. She loved it and I tried to get a photo of it going up her leg but she grabbed it before I could get the camera. She loves worms and I love that she loves bugs and worms.

She did let it go and put it back - No worm was harmed in photographing this worm.

Below - Here we are at presquile, first time for Madi and Mommy to be there. We sat by the water and had a picnic lunch and then we moved onto the Butterfly Release program being held the weekend we went.

It was a beautiful September day and there were people still swimming in the lake.

Here is a picture of the butterfly Madi was given to release for its trip to Mexico.

These butterflies are released at presquile because its the shortest distance across the water to travel to Mexico. Madi loved it and we watched other people release theirs as well. The little sticker on wing is the "tagging" and then when they reach their destination I guess people go to the website and they track it somehow.

This is one of the trails with these funky trees along the way. The girls call them the "horse" trees.

Below - Sorry for the blurry photos but that's what happens with an active 3 year old.

Here she is in Mommy's shoes (she is always putting on Mommy's or Daddy's shoes) and doing her "ballet" she calls it. Oh, and in her underwear. Quite a beauty!!!

Baxter always trying to worm his way into a photo.

Nice!!

Bustin' a move

Another bug!! Madi spotted this guy at the waterfront when we went fishing.

The gang getting ready to catch a HUGE fish

Not sure what Mommy was doing but clearly I look like I know what I am doing!

A bit breezy but we had lots of fun.

Making lunch for us. FANCY!!

Jill with her big catch. We tried to get Madi to hold like she caught it but no such luck.

HUGE CATCH OF THE DAY!!!! 1.5 oz

Here is Randy doing is P90X workout - its a killer work out and I am so proud of him sticking to the program. Even with Madi under his feet trying to be just like "Daddy".

Madi practising her "pole dancing"

Resistance Band training!!

Yoga move - downward dog

She is getting quite a 6-pack - Randy not there yet but soon!!

First Dentist Appointment - September 30th, 2009

She didn't like Mr. Thirsty (the tube that sucks the spit out of your mouth) and after the 3rd time with it she cried but other than that she was great. She didn't like when you closed your mouth around Mr. Thirsty so next time we will suggest not having her close her lips around it. It was hard for her to open her mouth after.
I was so proud of my big girl.

She wouldn't look at the camera and smile - I guess she thought if she smiled that meant she enjoyed it and she clearly didn't want us thinking she enjoyed it.
Her favorite part was going to the "toy box" which is a drawer and picking out a ball (go figure) and she got to pick a new blue toothbrush and floss. She liked that she got a lot of stuff on her visit there. I hope so 76$ to count her teeth and barely polish them - need to justify the 76$ charge!! Visit was less than 10 minutes and she didn't even meet the dentist!!

Below - Pretend action shot!!

Above - is a photo of a mushroom I picked up (accidentally) at the grocery store. I was thinking of putting it on ebay for $1000!!

Madi in her new outfit; off to the sitters.

Boy she is one tall girl!

Canada's next top model

Thanks for visiting - that's it for a bit, I need to take some more pictures before I can blog again. Pumpkin patch this weekend should get some photo opportunties.
