Madi, Mommy and Linda went strawberry picking. We decided to go to Campbell's orchard just over the Rossmore bridge as they have animals and thought Madi would enjoy herself more there than just a strawberry picking patch. (Of course Mommy enjoyed it herself if not more)

Madi found all the grunting a little interesting and the chickens.

Hitting the strawberry patch. Madi was quite clingy but Linda to the rescue to distract Madi and gave her a job (carrying the baskets) and she got right into. (Phew saved by Linda)
Here she is telling us where the strawberries are - like we don't know but I did mention previously she is bossy!!

It was a perfect day for picking even though it doesn't look like it. We came prepared but didn't need the rain attire. The strawberries at Campbells were very small but very tasty as Madi would say "Ummy, Ummy".

Madi quite enjoyed the eating bunnies.
They gobbled it up pretty quick and they were paid for strawberries. We wouldn't eat any that weren't paid for.

We decided to leave Campbell's and try West Moira because of the berries being so small. Now we only ALMOST got into 1 accident on the way there. I gave poor Linda a heart attack but we made it home safe. Maybe she is avoiding going to costco with me next week because she doesn't trust my driving??!!
(Above) Madi looks a little distraught due to the clouds but that is not the case, it was from someone walking by as she is very shy.

We decided to leave Campbell's and try West Moira because of the berries being so small. Now we only ALMOST got into 1 accident on the way there. I gave poor Linda a heart attack but we made it home safe. Maybe she is avoiding going to costco with me next week because she doesn't trust my driving??!!

Notice the shirt - she was dressed for Strawberry picking. The skies look bad but it really was a great day for picking - no dealing with the hot sun on our heads.
The berries were much better (size wise) at West Moira but because of all the rain you really had to be careful as a lot were rotten.
On our way out of the orchards - Linda is trying to get Madi to carry one of the full baskets (for a photo op!!) but didn't work.
Heading in the wrong direction - she is suppose to be going towards the van! Madi being a toddler.
How about that sky!! It passed right over us, I felt about 4 drops and that was it. It blew right over us but they don't look pretty.
