Hello and Merry Christmas!
Welcome to our Christmas of 2009
T'is right Matey's it is the tree of Christmas just yonder!
She found the wrapping paper rolls and had quite the fun with them. Funny thing is I remember as a kid playing with them! Who needs new toys from Santa when you can play with an extra long paper roll.
And the stockings were hung, in hopes Saint Nick would come.
Madi visited Linda and Michael on Christmas Eve to bring them a little gift and instead we left with a LOOT OF STUFF!!!
Below Madi is wearing one of the outfits Linda and Michael bought her. She was given a HUGE snowman bag (you will see that later) filled with gifts. She is truly blessed and lucky little girl. Michael and Linda spoil her like she is related (if not better) - We have the best friends/neighbors going!!
Below - a picture of Madi in Ottawa on Christmas Day getting gifts from her Mommy's side.
Christmas Morning (not to her but the real 25th) Madi came downstairs with the snowman bag as what she wanted to wear - The photos say it all!!
Yup she's naked!
It took a lot of convincing to get her clothes on (seems to be happening a lot lately - she is like her MOTHER!!!)
Below - Our Christmas Eve which fell on December 26th. Madi has a jar of Oatmeal and glitter for the reindeer to see when she sprinkles them in the back deck. The oatmeal the reindeer are suppose to eat it with the carrots.

Below - I asked her to smile (big mistake as that is her Fake Smile)
The girls helping Madi sprinkle the mixture.
Sorry for the darkness - didn't realize the flash was off.

Madi standing next to the cookies and milk she put out for santa. Thats right he got homemade whipped shortbread cookies! He's gotta keep that sveldt look up!
Christmas Eve story with the family.
Everyone sat around for Madi's nighttime storytime. She loved having everyone do what she was doing. All eyes on her.

Madi Christmas morning.
All confused because she had wanted Santa to put her gifts in the snowman bag (Linda gave her) but he forgot to or didn't get the notice in time! Oops
Christmas morning photo with all the girls
They still have bed head. They were eager to get the photos over with so that they could dig into the gifts and stockings.

Stocking and present time

Didn't notice we had the flash still OFF!!
Here Mommy is explaining to Madi we can't open the GLO sticks because its morning time, we need it dark to see them. She didn't care and Daddy opened them for her. Below - there they are hanging on the chair.
Madi got a flashlight with covers that change so you can see shadows of Santa, stockings, wreaths, etc.
More gifts...this could take all day (it did last year)

Madi so tired she needs to lay down to open her gifts. It is exhausting being spoiled I guess.

Christmas dinner with the infamous Christmas Cracker hats! Our favorite thing to do.
If you'll notice there is no turkey - long story short the butcher froze our "fresh" turkey so we had pork instead!
It was good regardless of the meat choice except no leftover turkey for sandwiches and soup! I look forward to that most of the year!
Next day reading the books Madi received.
the traditional christmas photo with the girls all in the same pj's except this will probably be the last year since Jillian is growing out of kids sizes now!
Take a few for good measure
Thanks to Oma and Opa for the PJ's!!
Madi copying Mommy and now she wants to paint her nails!! My little Diva at 3!!

Just as long as she doesn't need to go to the spa yet!!
It was great and exciting until the movie started - she didn't like that it got dark, the ads for other movies scared her and the movie when it finally came on was loud she kept whining to leave. I did get some pictures of her first movie (attempt) - she did like the popcorn, drink and kinder egg, once most of that was gone so was she. Daddy took her home after about 20 minutes and the girls and I stayed to finish out the movie.
